Welcome to the 31th Irish Signals and Systems Conference

ISSC 2020

Mon 17th - Tue 18th June 2019, hosted by Maynooth University

The Irish Signals and Systems Conference (ISSC) is the premier annual research forum on the Island of Ireland addressing all aspects of signals and systems including both applications and fundamentals. Since its inception in 1990 as the Colloquium in Digital Signal Processing and Control, the ISSC retains its focus on signals and systems, control and automation, communications and ICT related concepts while evolving over the years to include a variety of application areas.

Maynooth University will be hosting the 30th ISSC in 2019 and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome academic and industrial researchers in the electronic engineering and computer science communities working in the general area of Signals and Systems to submit their research and actively participate in the conference.

The scope of the conference covers the theory and applications of signals and systems in multiple disciplines. The conference topic list covers some main aspects but is not exhaustive. This year we particularly welcome submissions in the areas of Robotics, Intelligent Devices, and Communications.

All papers should be written in English and prepared in a two-column format in accordance with the requirements listed in the Guide for Authors. Initial submissions may be up to 8 pages, whereas the final version of the accepted manuscript can be up to 6 pages (additional pages may incur an additional cost). The program committee will select high quality papers for oral and poster presentations based upon peer reviews and all accepted papers will be published in the proceedings. Brief industrial submissions are also welcome.
